Mascoat Products, the manufacturer of Delta T products, Delta dB, WeatherBloc Insulating Coatings has been designing, distributing and manufacturing insulating coatings since 1995. Recently, we have extended our offices to Singapore and the Pacific Rim areas to better service clients in those areas. We are proud to be now offering direct representation and hope that our products are as well received as in the United States.

Our success has changed the way in which substrates are insulated. We have helped customers understand why conventional insulation systems are not the best means of insulation in all cases. Our mission statement is to “Help customers paint and insulate to solve multitudes of problems and needs in a lost cost spray application method.”

Our Coatings We have provided coatings that range from marine, commercial, and residential substrates all over the world. Unlike some other insulation coatings we do not manufacture one coating that fits all purposes. Each of our coatings are designed, constructed and tailored specifically to individual applications. Our belief is using the best in quality materials for the application while keeping the costs as low as possible. By accomplishing this task, we are able to have a variety of coatings that can be used on rooftops, heavy industrial, and marine environments with outstanding results and durability.

Our coatings are manufactured at our facility, by Mascoat Products. We do not market or private label someone else's product as pyramid type marketing. We know each and every ingredient and why it is incorporated into our product. This allows us to make and manufacture specific coatings if needed for special circumstances. We strive to produce the best overall product while maintaining extensive quality control. Our coatings are batch made in accordance with Underwriters Quality Assurance Program and controlled via computerized tracking lot numbers. This maintains the utmost in quality control for each and every pail that is manufactured.

Since we have engineers and chemists on staff, we are constantly updating our coatings to incorporate the best in materials, chemistry and technical assistance. Our staff is very versed at a variety of applications and our technical expertise in unmatched. We have the ability to forecast temperature differentials and energy savings to help you feel comfortable with this new technology. Thus, our coatings have a complete support system from quotation to application. We want to make sure that every job is a successful one, so please feel free to use our tech experts if needed.

Other So Called "Insulation Coatings"

Please do not confuse us with other insulation coatings. Insulation coatings are fairly new to the market since 1990. From their inception, most beginning insulation coatings were made and designed by “backyard chemists” that stumbled on a “recipe” that provided a reflective insulating  material. The preliminary coatings were made from white paint and sand/silica. The initial applications were mainly used for rooftop coatings and were somewhat successful. The only problem was that once the coating became dirty, for the most part, they stopped working. Thus, these first coatings worked due to the white color, not due to their engineered designed particle structure.

As the industry grew, a hodgepodge of companies “popped up” (and soon disappeared), touting their “insulation coatings” as the end all product to solve insulation problems. Their products were merely slight variations of  the rooftop coating re-marketed towards industrial applications. This led to many problems because the coatings were not designed for higher temperature applications (above 200 F and 100C) and thus failed as a result. This blanket type marketing strategy gave the ceramic insulating coatings a bad name in general.

Most importantly these coatings could not be effectively explained from a technical or mathematical format. Just that they worked. From an engineer's point of view, this left a huge amount of speculation. Thus, the industry suffered and the technology did not grow as a result. When Mascoat was founded, we vowed to give the customer a full answer as to not only how the coating worked, but also a professional basis for a decision making process.

Mascoat Products is one of the few companies that thoroughly understands heat transfer and why its coatings work. We try to immerse ourselves in your particular application so we can help provide you with information need for specification and turn key application. Mascoat does not try to portray that our coatings are designed for every application of insulation. In fact, we tend to be very conservative as we only strive for successful applications. This is why we are successful and understand that our coatings have a niche market.

Our line of dealers, distributors and applicators are extremely knowledgeable in not only insulation areas but also coating areas as well. This helps us develop an engineered system for you providing the best in products to accomplish your goals. Sometimes, not one product is the full answer. We will help you engineer your application so the best in overall performance is the intended goal.

We never have claimed nor will claim that our product is the end all insulation method. Yet, with our technology, immense application history, and our extensive testing system, we offer the best in thermal insulating coatings on the market today. Ask us a question about insulating coatings, we will have an answer!
